I’m a technology leader, author, and hands-on builder with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology, including building and leading global sales engineering teams. Throughout my career, I’ve helped people make sense of complex technology, connect it to real problems, and understand what it could make possible.

That experience has shaped how I approach new technology. A useful solution starts with understanding the people who will use it, the work they need to accomplish, and the decisions they need to make. The software matters. So do trust, clear communication, and the judgment to know where it belongs.

Today, I’m focused on helping professionals and organizations build the understanding and confidence to use technology effectively in their own work. AI is a major part of that conversation. Through writing, practical examples, and hands-on experimentation, I explore what these tools can do, where their limits are, and what it takes to turn their potential into something useful.

My book, Artificial Intelligence for the Actually Intelligent, brings that approach to readers who want an accessible, practical introduction to AI. Across my writing and projects, the aim is consistent: make complicated ideas understandable and give people something they can apply.

This site is where I share that work, the lessons behind it, and the questions worth exploring next.
