Messages and email
This site does not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not have a newsletter. If you use the contact form or email Geoff Schemel, you choose to share your contact details and message. Geoff uses them to reply and handle related follow-up. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.
The contact form sends your name, email address, topic, message, and any app or device details you choose to include through Resend to the support inbox. Google Workspace hosts that inbox. Messages stay in the inbox until deleted; there is no automatic mailbox cleanup. You can request deletion of a message or ask a privacy question at hello@geoffschemel.com.
The services that support this site
Replit hosts the site. Resend delivers contact-form email, Google Workspace handles support email, and Google reCAPTCHA v2 helps protect the form from spam and abuse. These services process information needed to operate and protect the site and deliver messages, including technical information sent with a web request. reCAPTCHA uses a security cookie for security, fraud, and abuse prevention.
Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention periods. External links, such as book retailers, have their own privacy policies. For information about the WanderWave app, read the WanderWave privacy page.
